a quick note.
i love fridays.
i forgot to mention corey orbison, michal's band we played with in bristol. they are about to explode watch out for them.
their songs are short, fast and to the point. michal if you read this, send me a recording! even a tape of a live show! you've got a natural dancer's presence, my friend.
which suddenly makes me get an idea.
i'm highly caffeinated and dangerous this morning.
what if i was to combine a modern dance piece WITH a rock band? like the musicians dancing WHILE playing their instruments? i don't mean just bopping around i mean dancing.
i know it's not exactly original - david dorfman does that all the time.
but in an indie rock format? i saw a piece a few years ago where one of his dancers played the violin while doing rolls. no really.
i think i've figured out what i'm doing for julie's next church show.
dan fishback, are you in?
i know i can barely play guitar and hop at the same time but i'm convinced i can figure something interesting out.
performance art here i come!
i need to dance again fer christsakes.
