no time to edit or censor this morning have to be quick like speedy gonzalez. i overslept till 8am today. am supposed to be at work at 8:30. luckily i called in and said i was going to be late. then i got here and they didn't have a place for me yet and there was free coffee in a conference room. score. i am burning the candle at both ends. but last nite was cool. at first i didn't want to go cause you know i've been out every nite for days on end and when am i going to fall over and all that. but i was highly entertained by ms. yoko and old songs and i've heard her criticism song before but last nite it really struck a chord. maybe because you know, i am pretty sensitive at times (me? no!) and am trying to learn how to take criticism a little better and not let it make me immediately think i suck and should hide in a shack. heh. perspective. am getting more. to go with my pudding you see. then josh malamy read poetry. fuckin a. i want to buy his book. he also sang some songs. he's moving to chicago soon. land of deep dish pizza. and jason rabinowitz. he can PLAY. as crystal babyskin and i agreed, "he has charisma". and silky smooth voice like hot chocolate. and babs. fuckin a again. shit i like her playing with nellie and her sister. there is a really sad song she sings with a lyric about being wrong for someone and it makes me melt. like butter. notice all the food references. i'm hungry. the baby skins? can the world contain their talent i ask you? they played songs and soothed me. their new cd is coming out on oj feb 1st. buy it. really you will fall over with happiness. calendar girls played two songs after. i got up on stage with my keyboard and joined phoebe on bass, angela on guitar and yoko on electronic mini casio. only 2 mics so it was a campfire sing along about the month of november. "indian corn, virgina woolf, port authority, salt and pepper" this song has got it all. And then yoko, phoebe and i did the 1.3.5 song which fit well for a closer. i felt a little worn and i was at one with the song. i got it if you know what i mean. i felt hungover though was not. sleep tonite! that's my mission. and healthy food. all day long. and tea. weekend report: pink floyd songs. everyone was so creative. loved it. i want vera to be part of our schwerve set now. psuit show was fun too. we were a bit tired but i enjoyed meself and snuggle bear disguised as anna nicole smith's dog sugar pie was our mascot. can't wait to practice with girlz this weekend. get in groove again. bought a humidifier. think it's helping sinuses. and a new soup pot huzzah! made liberian black-eyed pea soup sunday. over and out.
