right now i'm drinking coffee with eggnog and eating toast with gooseberry jam that jacqui and gary sent from aberdeen scotland. the gooseberry jam is so good that i almost drank it from the jar. thanks you guys!!! tony & peggy are coming over today and the plan was to go to the beach this morning. yes i am a wierdo and like the beach best in winter. but we may just take a walk to the east river instead. will decide upon their arrival.
yesterday i did a lot of food shopping for xmas holiday party i'm hosting tonite. i went to the dollar store for last minute utensils and i bought a pair of extra large lime green slippers. why? i have no idea they are way too big and i've been hobbling around the apartment and it's quite hilarious to have 4 inches of extra slipper sticking out past my heels. it makes me laugh though cause i am a dork.
matt is in florida right now and i miss him. though it's great to have some time alone in the place. good for strumming guitar and singing at the top of my lungs. and watching all the movies he doesn't want to rent - the cheesy girly ones if you know what i mean.
