this morning i saw a special eating my raisin bran about this little motherless gorilla lucille that was being taken care of by two women who were with her 24/7. the point was that they were eventually going to pass her off on a surrogate gorilla but they had to introduce her into surrogate mom's world slowly. the women would switch off holding her and lucille would curl her arms around them and she was very human-baby-like. it was so cute.
do you think gummo would be okay if i brought a baby gorilla home?
they could be friends.

weekend report is that i recorded drums for 5 dream bitches songs. it sounds pretty good. we may find out in a week that i was completely off rhythm but i gave it my best and we had casserole and beers to celebrate afterwards. sat. nite was ali's bday party on the roof of red square and i only made it a couple hours i was beat. but i talked to katy from wales for a while and that was nice. sunday was pantsuit practice. i missed rocking out with the ladiez new songs in progress which excites me. christine CAN channel jack white. you didn't know it but it's true!

the reality of working again has hit me and I feel grumpy.
it is much more fun to ride around in a van in a foreign country and play a rock show.
this astrolger friend of mine said that this upcoming year was a good one for virgos financially.
does that mean i will be working a lot at the day job or maybe getting paid more for creative endeavors?
or both?

i want a new drumset and a new guitar.
right now.

patience was never a strength of mine.

i went to the open mike last nite and lach had this twist on the usual 2 songs or 8 minutes for every performer. we each had to play a 15 second song. then if the audience liked it we could play a normal length song. if they didn't like it, they shouted "TWIST!" and the performer had to get off the stage.
i got twisted. but i kind of asked for it because i had been yelling "twist!" for some of the performers (who i knew could take it like jon berger) cause it just made me giddy and I kept shrieking with laughter and it's not that i didn't like the performers i just wanted to shake things up and got carried away. so i got twisted after singing "your head in the icebox married in berlin kicking up your heels the saggy shape we're in".
it was a very strange funny evening. yoko played atlantic city and phoebe and i were her dancers and back up singers. maybe we should be the "bitchelles" for special occasions.
