i don't need to say I know it's been a while. that's because i've been too busy riding around in vans, hitting drums really hard, and dancing like a fool every nite to Vermont.
They make me dance EVERY NITE. I haven't danced EVERY NITE since i was a wee lass.
half of the band is german and half is english and they are just so cool as well as very attractive. so far the shows have rocked out like sweaty messes of chaos.
our gig in newcastle last nite was cancelled which sucked donkey balls but see -- this is what i love about vermont. did they lie down and cry like me? no, they went around the pub yelling that we were playing a free show at the venue anyway and threw a party and strung up lights and lit candles and actually people showed up and danced and some guy named birty had his birthday and we dedicated lots of songs to him. we passed around a tip jar new york style and even sold some merch.
yikes i have to get off the computer now. see, what a tease i am. it's just that with nine people time is limited. but this is a note to tell you all me & matt are having a blast and eating well (of course!) and i'll have to give you the full report of all shows & towns soon:
