I made an appointment for a massage with a friend of matt's named angela who just finished massage school. i'm excited and of course nervous that she will help release 30 years of tension in my shoulder. Shit what will happen?
I think I need a new career.
One in which I can boss people around and do something movement or body related.
I think I could be good at that.
Not sure about yoga. I think the fact that usually people who are good at yoga TEACH yoga might be a hindrance for me. I am not an advanced student.
I also have this wrist cyst which causes me pain when I try to support my weight and I end up modifying a lot of poses. Maybe this is a case of I need yoga more than I need to teach it.
Now "Creative Movement" I could stand behind.
Like if all I had to do was put on music and encourage people (maybe all ages, kids too) to move and let out their creative selves and make up dances or something. Interpretive dancing? I'm excellent at that. My friends can attest to this from my top-notch performances at their parties. And it's not just in a party atmosphere either. I do it in pantsuit rehearsal sometimes, while playing guitar.
Could I make a new Interpretive Dance Career for myself, in addition to my musical ambitions?
