I am about to host a swaporama rama with wendy of moxie fame.
A swaporama rama means that a bunch of people come over and dump their unwanted clothes in a pile on the floor and then at a specific start time, you all dive in and take what you want. yeah! there's no reason we should sacrifice our personal style because we are low on cash!

ha ha.
well the truth is i have been very social and energetic going out a lot lately to hear music.
my contemplative nature is still there, it's just waiting for the right weekend to lie on the grass and watch the boats on the hudson.
actually i have a little fantasy about taking a few days by myself somewhere in a cabin in the country and just bringing my notebook, a guitar, a couple books, and some food.
no pressure to do anything. i could nap all day if i wanted.
take walks.
anyone know of a cheap place an hour or two out of the city?
had pantsuit brunch and wished tina farewell this morning! no silly not from the band. she's just going to tibet for two months! hope to use the time she's away to finish mixing/mastering our cd, write new pantsuit bio, get website revamped, work on new stuff with sharks, play a couple pantsuit-lite gigs with sharks, and do a mini-tour with schwervon at the end of june. no not busy or anything.
and matt is leaving at the end of may for his solo uk tour. i will miss him like crazy but will be good to have some alone time too.
i am going to paint a picture of gummo on the window his new favorite spot.
it is so hot today i'm sweatastic.
bought a fan at national wholesale liquidators that kicks major FAN ASS. it's a tall one that oscillates. we don't want to turn on our air conditioner until we absolutely have to. it's so expensive.
hey i gotta get ready for the swap now.
